House of Representatives bills under consideration:
HB 122, PN 118 (Casorio) – The Senior Alert System Act requires the Pennsylvania State Police to establish and maintain the Senior Alert System to assist in the recovery of missing endangered adults through prompt notification to the general public and appropriate law enforcement authorities.
HB 1961, PN 2628 (Gergely) - The Home Care Consumer Information Report Card Act establishes the Home Care Consumer Information Report Card Program, which would require the Department of Health to ensure that data on home care agencies is gathered and made available to the public. The bill lists certain information which must be provided to the public.
HB 2062, PN 2841 (Watson) - The Care Facility Carbon Monoxide Alarm Act requires carbon monoxide alarms in facilities serving care-dependent persons, and imposes powers and duties on the Departments of Aging, Health and Public Welfare to administer this requirement. The bill also provides for the imposition of an administrative penalty of $300 for each day a facility is in operation and in violation of the Act.
HB 1641, PN 2886 (Gingrich) - PN 2046) The Circulating Nurse Act requires a circulating nurse in certain operating rooms and requires a registered nurse to be the circulating nurse in the operating room. The act provides definitions of anesthesia, deep sedation/analgesia, health care facility, operating room of the facility, and registered nurse.
